Gegužės 22 d. Briuselyje užsienio reikalų ministras Gabrielius Landsbergis dalyvaus Europos Sąjungos (ES) Užsienio reikalų taryboje, kurioje numatoma aptarti Rusijos karinę agresiją prieš Ukrainą, situaciją Afrikos kyšulio regione ir Vakarų Balkanuose. Ministrai taip pat aptars aktualius užsienio politikos klausimus: situaciją Tunise ir Centrinėje Azijoje, paskutines aktualijas iš aukšto lygmens susitikimų su Armėnijos ir Azerbaidžano vadovais.
ES užsienio reikalų ministrai aptars situaciją Ukrainoje, tolesnę ES karinę paramą Ukrainai, įskaitant tolesnius amunicijos Ukrainai tiekimus ir ES mokomosios misijos finansavimą, tolesnį ES sankcijų Rusijai procesą, o taip pat Rusijos atskaitomybę už įvykdytus karo nusikaltimus ir nusikaltimus žmogiškumui, įskaitant ir agresijos nusikaltimą.
Ministrai taip pat aptars situaciją Afrikos kyšulio regione, ypatingą dėmesį skirdami tebesitęsiančiam kariniam konfliktui Sudane, diskutuos dėl ES galimų veiksmų ir didesnio įsitraukimo regione.
Briuselyje gegužės 22 d. taip pat vyks neformalus ES ir Vakarų Balkanų užsienio reikalų ministrų susitikimas, kurio metu bus aptariama regiono ir jo visuomenių atsparumo, saugumo, ekonomikos stiprinimo, energetinės nepriklausomybės klausimai.
