Siekiant smulkiesiems ūkiams sudaryti kuo palankesnes sąlygas gauti Europos Sąjungos paramą, Žemės ūkio ministerija padidino jiems skirtas lėšas ir pratęsė paraiškų rinkimo laikotarpį.
Paraiškų priėmimas pagal Lietuvos kaimo plėtros 2014–2020 metų programos (KPP) priemonės ,,Ūkio ir verslo plėtra“ veiklos sritį „Parama smulkiesiems ūkiams“ vyksta jau nuo kovo 1 d. ir turėjo tęstis iki balandžio 30 d. Šiam kvietimui skirta 20 mln. Eur: 5 mln. Eur – pieninei galvijininkystei ir 15 mln. Eur – kitiems sektoriams.
Įvertinęs, kad žemės ūkio naudmenų ir pasėlių deklaravimas prasidės vėliau (t. y. nuo gegužės 2 d.), KPP ir Lietuvos žemės ūkio ir kaimo plėtros 2023–2027 metų strateginio plano valdymo komitetas nusprendė pratęsti veiklos srities „Parama smulkiesiems ūkiams“ paraiškų priėmimą iki š. m. gegužės 15 d.
Komitetas taip pat nusprendė padidinti 5 mln. Eur ir kvietimui skirtas lėšas – nuo 20 mln. Eur iki 25 mln. Eur. Iš šių papildomų lėšų pieninei galvijininkystei skirta 1 mln. Eur, o kitiems sektoriams – 4 mln. Eur. Šios lėšos bus perskirstytos iš kitų KPP priemonių lėšų likučių.
