Lietuvos vandenis pasieks apie 1,5 tonų (4 mln.) unguriukų – Žemės ūkio ministerija siūlo šiems metams skirti beveik 2 mln. eurų europinių ungurių (Anguilla anguilla L.) išteklių valdymo Lietuvoje plano įgyvendinimui tęsti.
Šį planą įgyvendina Žuvininkystės tarnyba prie Lietuvos Respublikos žemės ūkio ministerijos. Tarnyba nuo spalio 30 d. iki lapkričio 6 d. galės pateikti paramos paraišką pagal šiuo metu keičiamas Lietuvos žuvininkystės sektoriaus 2014–2020 metų veiksmų programos veiklos srities „Parama europinių ungurių išteklių valdymo planui Lietuvoje įgyvendinti“ įgyvendinimo taisykles.
Priemonei įgyvendinti 2023 metams skiriama 1,9 mln Eur. Lėšos skiriamos iš Europos jūrų reikalų ir žuvininkystės fondo (75 proc.) ir bendrojo finansavimo lėšų, numatytų Lietuvos biudžete (25 proc.).
Šiais metais į Lietuvos vandenis jau paleista daugiau kaip 1 mln. europinių unguriukų, o nuo 2011-ųjų – daugiau kaip 10,5 mln.
Lietuvos žuvininkystės sektoriaus 2014–2020 metų veiksmų programos pirmojo Sąjungos prioriteto „Ekologiškai tausios, efektyvaus išteklių naudojimo, inovacinės, konkurencingos ir žiniomis grindžiamos žvejybos skatinimas“ priemonės „Parama išsaugojimo priemonių rengimui ir įgyvendinimui“ veiklos srities „Parama europinių ungurių išteklių valdymo planui Lietuvoje įgyvendinti“ įgyvendinimo taisyklių pakeitimo projektas pateiktas derinti su visuomene Lietuvos Respublikos Seimo kanceliarijos Teisės aktų informacinėje sistemoje.
