Europos Komisija kviečia visų valstybių narių ekologinės gamybos sektoriaus dalyvius teikti paraiškas ir dalyvauti šių metų Europos Sąjungos ekologijos apdovanojimuose. Paraiškos bus renkamos iki gegužės 14 d., o apdovanojimų ceremonija įvyks rugsėjo 25 d. Briuselyje.
Šiame konkurse siekiama apdovanoti geriausius ekologiško maisto grandinės dalyvius ir projektus, užtikrinti jų matomumą bei viešinimą.
Apdovanojimai bus skiriami už novatoriškumą ir tvarumą 7 kategorijose:
- 1 kategorija. Geriausia ekologiniu ūkininkavimu besiverčianti ūkininkė ir geriausias ekologiniu ūkininkavimu besiverčiantis ūkininkas
- 2 kategorija. Geriausias ekologiškas regionas
- 3 kategorija. Geriausias ekologiškas miestas
- 4 kategorija. Geriausias ekologiją puoselėjantis regionas
- 5 kategorija. Geriausia ekologiškų maisto produktų perdirbimo įmonė
- 6 kategorija. Geriausias ekologiškų maisto produktų mažmenininkas
- 7 kategorija. Geriausias ekologiškas restoranas / maitinimo paslaugų teikėjas
Vertinimo komisiją sudarys 7 nariai, kuriuos skirs Europos Parlamentas, Europos Sąjungos Taryba, Europos Komisija, Europos ekonomikos ir socialinių reikalų komitetas, Europos regionų komitetas, taip pat skėtinės žemdirbių organizacijos – IFOAM Organics Europe ir COPA-COGECA.
Ši komisija vertins ne būsimas, o jau įgyvendintas idėjas ir pasiektus rezultatus. Svarbu tai, kad dalyviai turi turėti ekologinio sertifikavimo įrodymus.
Paraišką konkursui galima parengti bet kuria ES kalba. Dalyvavimas konkurse nemokamas.
