Balandžio 20 dieną užsienio reikalų viceministras Mantas Adomėnas dalyvavo dvišalėse konsultacijose daugiašalės darbotvarkės klausimais su Korėjos Respublikos užsienio reikalų viceministru daugiašaliams ir globaliems reikalams Park Yong-Min.
Dvišalių konsultacijų metu viceministrai aptarė Rusijos agresiją Ukrainoje daugiašaliame kontekste, atsakomybės už Rusijos karo nusikaltimus užtikrinimą, Jungtinių Tautų generalinio sekretoriaus Antonio Guterreso iniciatyvą ,,Mūsų bendra darbotvarkė“, prioritetus ir bendradarbiavimą tarptautiniuose žmogaus teisių formatuose, kandidatavimo į tarptautines organizacijas klausimus bei pasirengimą Jungtinių Tautų aukščiausiojo lygio Ateities bei Darnaus vystymosi tikslų susitikimams.
,,Džiaugiamės glaudžiu Lietuvos ir Korėjos Respublikos bendradarbiavimu tarptautinėse organizacijose bei aktyviu Korėjos Respublikos įsitraukimu daugiašaliuose formatuose ginant taisyklėmis grindžiamą tarptautinę tvarką. Tik stiprus daugiašališkumas, kurio pagrindas yra Jungtinės Tautos, gali padėti tarptautinėms organizacijoms veiksmingai reaguoti į pasaulinius iššūkius ir krizes, grėsmes tarptautinei taikai ir saugumui, vystymosi iššūkius, klimato kaitą, migraciją, skaitmeninimą ir visuomenės sveikatos problemas“, – sakė viceministras M. Adomėnas.
Vizito metu Korėjos Respublikos viceministras su delegacija taip pat dalyvaus balandžio 20–21 dienomis Vilniuje vykstančioje NATO bei Indijos ir Ramiojo vandenynų regiono partnerių konferencijoje.
